Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator
Our client is an Aboriginal-owned business within the food and beverage space delivering unique gourmet artisan flavours to the people and businesses of Perth.
We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Administrator to join their amazing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full-service Bookkeeping and providing administrative support to the director with an open mind to learning new processes and systems as the business grows.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Well-versed in the use of major account software (XERO
- , MYOB, etc.)
- The ability to be flexible and multitask as required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Candidate experience and responsibilities:
- Full scope of accounts payable and receivable
- End-of-month reconciliation and reporting
- Payroll processing, including superannuation and industry awards knowledge
- ATO account and record management
- Preparation of BAS/GST, PAYG, and other statutory returns as required
- Ongoing maintenance and organisation of files
- Management of insurance, licenses, and registrations
- Various admin tasks as required, including supplier sourcing, price negotiation, purchase orders, project estimating, etc.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is regarded but not essential
