About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Crew Leader to join our dynamic team in Perth. In this role, you will be primarily working on critical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install underground electrical cables and associated equipment for Western Power projects.
• Operate cable-laying equipment safely and effectively.

In this role, you'll operate state-of-the-art HDD equipment and play a key role in delivering critical electrical infrastructure projects to Western Power standards.

Long-term projects are available, and this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in trenchless technology and civil construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HDD rigs (JT32, JT20, JT9) and Digitrak Falcon systems
• Lead a drill team and execute bore path planning
• Set up drills and mix drill mud
• Install electrical infrastructure in line with Western Power standards
• Operate vacuum trucks and read BYDA plans
• Complete all relevant construction documentation (e.g., JHAs, dig permits, pre-starts, bore logs)

Essential Requirements

• Truck Licence (MR to HC)
• Construction White Card
• First Aid Certificate with CPR
• Western Power Cable Laying Ticket (highly regarded)

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Cert III in Trenchless Technology or Civil Construction
• Excavator Ticket, Quick Cut Saw, and other relevant plant tickets
• Traffic Management – BWTM/TC
