About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Cable Layer/Operator to join our dynamic team in Perth. In this role, you will be primarily working on projects for our esteemed client, Western Power. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of underground cables and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install underground electrical cables and associated equipment for Western Power projects.
• Operate cable-laying equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine work requirements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to complete projects on time.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Skills and Tasks:

• Proven experience in cable laying.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in cable installation.
• Proven experience in operating plant and equipment, including the installation of cabling and associated gear, as well as the reinstatement of disturbed areas.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret power drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions.

Must-Haves:

• Truck Licence - MR or higher.
• Construction blue/white card.
• Excavator ticket.
• Western Power Cable Laying Ticket.
• Western Power specific inductions and qualifications.
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.

Advantageous:

• Dogging ticket.
• Quick Cut Saw, and other relevant plant tickets.
• Ability to identify, locate, and protect underground services. RIICCM202E - Identify, Locate and Protect Underground Services
• Traffic Management BWTM/TC certification.

About the role:

We are looking for multiple skilled, experienced pipe layers/operators to support our pipe repair and pipe laying teams in the Canning Basin. We are looking for candidates that can start immediately. The role is FIFO 2:1 day shift only. The successful candidates must have previous experience working with and laying GRP materials.

Qualifications and key requirements:

• Previous experience with laying GRP essential.
• Machine operating experience with Excavators up to 30T.
• High Risk Licences: Rigging, C6 Crane, CV.
• Experience working around and below ground excavations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Certificate III in civil construction (Pipe Laying) Highly desirable but not essential.

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced mechanical workshop coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, manage all plant, machinery, and other assets across the business.

Key requirements:

• Experience in welding and repairing minor items on trucks and ancillary equipment.
• Experience in Coordinating and servicing the maintenance of Trucks, Vehicles and Civil Construction / Mining Equipment.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of auxiliary Civil equipment like compactors, quick cuts, welders etc. 
• Ability to coordinate with multiple suppliers. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks. 
• Management of stock levels, critical spares, and inventory requirements. 
• Good computer literacy. 

Must have:

• HR Licence minimum (ideally MC Licence).
• Previous Mechanical Experience ideally a Mechanical Trade however not mandatory.

About the Role: Working as part of the water infrastructure team, the successful applicant will be required to reinstate all surfaces to their original state once the water works are complete and excavations are ready for reinstatement. You will need to be organised, efficient, punctual, and reliable. If that is you, we would love to have you on board.

This position is a customer critical role requiring excellent customer service and effective communication to ensure all residents and people affected by the works are satisfied.

Key requirements:

• Wetlay paving, block laying and associated skills. 
• Bricklaying.
• Garden and grass reinstatement.
• Landscaping construction experience.
• Kerbing.
• Concrete prep and laying
• Footpath and road reinstatement works.
• Previous experience with both hardscaping and soft scaping.
• Ability to work autonomously when required.
• Excellent communication skills.

Must have:

• White Card/Blue Card
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence / MR Truck Licence preferable
