Our client Benang Energy is an emerging Infrastructure services provider focused on sustainable solutions within the Utilities, Construction & Mining & Resources Sectors. Benang is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Project Managers with an engineering background for upcoming projects!
The Project Manager will:
- Plan, organise, and manage resources ensuring they are used effectively, efficiently, and safely
- Manage work in accordance with contract requirements and work schedules
- Develop and promote good communication between all levels of site and office personnel
- Enforce compliance with Company and Client policies and procedures
- Authorise purchases and other expenditures in accordance with financial delegations
- Monitor and control budget and time frames in liaison with the Finance
- Maintain discipline within the workforce
- Coordinate work groups so work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with work plans/schedules
- Monitor and maintain a safe working environment for employees
- Develop, maintain, and enhance good working relationships with the Client, other Contractors, and the Community
- Manage QA/QC, claims, programming, permits, and reporting
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualification in engineering, construction, and management or similar
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Current "C" class driver’s license
- White/blue card
- Section 44
- Fire extinguisher certificate
- 4WD certificate
- At least 10 years of civil/construction experience working for a Contractor
- Extensive project management experience
- Experience in managing the scope of work involving Infrastructure construction, road maintenance, and bulk earthworks
- Experience managing QA/QC, claims, programming, permits, and reporting
- Experience delivering independent packages
- Experience supporting Supervisors and Operators in the field
- Strong safety focus
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
