We are expanding our power team to meet growing demand and are looking for skilled drillers (HDD) to join our team.

Key requirements:

  • Experience with and JT32, JT20, JT9, and Digitrak Falcon systems.
  • Ability to lead a drill team.
  • Ability to set up drills, plan bore paths, and mix drill mud.
  • Install electrical infrastructure to Western Power standards.
  • Operate vacuum trucks and read BYD plans.
  • Complete construction paperwork (JHA’s, dig permits, pre-starts, borelogs).

 

Must have:

  • Truck Licence (MR to HC).
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
  • Construction blue/white card.
  • Western Power Cable Laying Ticket (highly regarded).

 

Advantages:

  • Cert III in Trenchless Technology or Civil Construction.
  • Excavator ticket, Quick Cut Saw, and other relevant plant tickets.
  • Traffic Management BWTM/TC.
  • Western Power specific inductions and qualifications (e.g. substation entry, RIC, Cable laying etc).

Location:

Our main depot is in Bibra Lake, with long term HDD project north of the river. Opportunities are also available for candidates living south of the river.
