The Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead our Labour Hire and Recruitment division. Reporting to the CEO and the Board, you will drive operational excellence, business growth, and client satisfaction while overseeing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the labour hire and recruitment portfolio.

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring quality candidate sourcing and placement.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their workforce needs.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of recruitment and operations professionals.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and labour laws.

  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.

  • Drive innovation in recruitment practices, leveraging technology and market trends.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior leadership role within labour hire industry. 

  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.

  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes, labour market trends, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute operational plans effectively.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field (desirable).
