Education and Experience:

Qualifications in Civil, mechanical or electrical Engineering

3 - 5 years’ experience working in project engineering roles within the mining, construction or infrastructure

Proven capability in successfully delivering discrete packages of work including design and sub-contractor management

Responsibilities:

Monitor, document and report, physical progress against schedule and any delays/interference which may have affected progress.
Ensure all day works, variations and other claims are accurately recorded and reported.
Liaise with contract administration to ensure all financial entitlements of the company are protected.
Liaise with client representatives and onsite supervision in relation to permits to work, JHA’s ITP, and any other requirements to enable the timely completion of the work.
Undertake the preparation of variations including taking off quantities and pricing.
Assist the estimating department with take offs, sourcing quotations and compliance documentation.
Co-ordination of the project in accordance with the directions in the project execution plan.
Coordinate subcontractors engaged on each project and ensure they are delivering their work in accordance with their safe work procedures and in line with their quality plans.
To coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment and subcontracting services required on the project.
Liaise with drawing & engineering office to resolve technical issues
Work with the Construction Supervisors to resolve site technical, scheduling and safety problems.
Complete ITPs, weld maps and any other quality records with assistance from the construction supervisor.
